Perhaps grief or regret follows you like a heavy cloud. If any of this resonates with you, know that you’re not alone and healing is possible. Unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional pain can hold us back from living fully but it’s never too late to begin the process of moving forward. I’m here to walk alongside you, to help you reconnect with yourself, and to support your journey toward peace, resiliency and joy.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over six years of experience in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health field. Since earning my license in 2019, I’ve focused on helping individuals navigate a wide range of challenges. I began my educational journey at California State University Channel Islands, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and then continued my studies at California Lutheran University, where I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy.
I take a compassionate, individualized approach to therapy, specializing in helping adults with issues like depression, trauma, anxiety, addiction, co-dependency, toxic relationships, abuse, and low self-esteem. By integrating a variety of therapeutic techniques, I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs, empowering them to overcome challenges, improve relationships, and rediscover joy in life.
I work at Warner Park Recovery which is a substance abuse & mental health facility.
Accepting new clients: offering sessions in-person to Windsor-Essex and online to all of Ontario. My name is Josh and I am a queer-identifying, Registered Psychotherapist. I approach each person with a genuine curiosity to better understand both their present and past experiences. I have ample experience working with adults to address relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression and self-esteem. I use an eclectic mix of psychotherapeutic modalities based on the best fit for you and your goals. Specifically, I draw from psychodynamic psychotherapy, EMDR, narrative psychotherapy and parts work. Most importantly, I approach each person with profound humanity, empathy and validation. I have tremendous respect for any person who acknowledges a need for support, change or improvement. I am committed to offering a non-judgmental, exploratory space to learn more about your emotional experiences, needs and sense of self.
